Describe in detail the ways in which the visualization violates graphical integrity and excellence:
This graphic has many problems. The scaling on the horizontal axis is not proportional and does not reflect a wide range. The labeling also seems to start at some arbitrary date. None of the axis are labeled, leaving the viewer to guess at the data being presented. There is an unexplained percentage at the top right corner of the graph. The tick marks do not allow the data to be read any better than if they were not included, in addition, the marks do not even penetrate the actual data curve. The area under the data curve has been filled in for no apparent reason other than it makes the graph visually appealing.
